I’ve always believed that art is simply emotion made tangible, and for me, creating has been a way to hold onto moments I never wanted to lose. What began as a quiet passion has grown into a space where I find purpose, healing, and joy. I’ve always cherished the little things: handwritten notes, saved ticket stubs, and tiny memories most people forget. That love for details shapes the way I create. Every piece I make is personal, intentional, and crafted with the same care I’d give to something made for someone I love. Thank you for being here and allowing my art to become a part of your story.
✨The Spark of akraftysmile ✨
The idea for my craft business began with a deeply personal milestone: my parents’ pearl wedding anniversary. I wanted to give them something truly special and handmade, and since I had a collection of cherished photographs, I was immediately drawn to creating a scrapbook.
The final result was better than I imagined—it was beautiful, and everyone absolutely loved it. This positive reception sparked a thought: maybe I could create this joy for others.
The true catalyst, however, came later. When I met my soulmate, I gifted him one of my creations, and his amazement and encouragement were the final push I needed. He saw the passion and potential in my work and urged me to pursue this art as a business.
And so, here I am—turning a personal passion into a profession and working on my dream to share the beauty and heart of handmade art with the world.
🌲 Beyond the Workbench: The Other Side of Me
When my hands aren’t busy with paper, resin, or clay, you’ll almost certainly find me out in nature.
I find my greatest inspiration and peace outdoors. I love to travel, especially embarking on long road trips where I can fully appreciate the beauty the natural world has to offer. My camera is always ready, and I enjoy capturing the incredible textures, colors, and moments I discover in the wilderness.
This time spent recharging in nature often finds its way back into my art, influencing the earthy palettes, intricate layers, and detailed textures you see in my creations!
